Don't worry, invite your suppliers to join our community. There are no costs for you or for them. Invite them conveniently with the “Invite Sellers” tools in your restaurant app and help them to reduce their costs.

Which products can I purchase on Chef Marketplace?
Food, drinks and non-food consumer products purchased daily from restaurants, pizzerias, delicatessens, bars, pastry shops, bakeries, wine bars, ...(See complete list). Here you will find a wide range of unique and quality products. NO equipment.

Can I also purchase services on Chef Marketplace?
Yes. Among the suppliers there are professionals who offer photography / video services (for dishes, environments, ...) or graphics services (menus, logo, ...) or consultancy.

When I buy, who gets the money?
The supplier. When you purchase HORECA products on Chef Marketplace with the restaurant app, you purchase directly from the supplier. The supplier will invoice you. Chef Marketplace is neither a reseller nor an agent. We do not take commissions. We are paid for the tools that facilitate the sale. Money from the buyer can pass directly to the seller outside the platform (unsecured transaction). Buyers can use the Chef Marketplace payment tools that protect them in the purchase ("Safe Transaction").

How can I get more information about the products on Chef Marketplace?
Each registered restaurateur can request information in the restaurant app using the appropriate "Ask a question" button on the page of the product they are interested in. The supplier will respond to you directly.

When will I be charged for the purchase?
If the payment is made via Chef Marketplace with the "Safe Transaction" service, the charge is immediate. If the payment takes place outside the platform (without the "Safe Transaction" service), times and terms are specified by the supplier.

What are the shipping times, methods and costs?
Shipping costs are buyers’ responsibility. At the checkout you will find various shipping offers; both the supplier's offer and those of Chef Marketplace. You will decide the one that best meets your needs (fresh/dry, times, costs).

When I purchase from a supplier, who invoices me?
You purchase directly from the HORECA supplier and he will invoice you.

When I purchase a Chef Marketplace service, who bills me?
You recharge your wallet/card in Chef Marketplace from which we deduct the costs of the services purchased. At the end of the month we issue an invoice for the total amount loaded.

When I sell my products on Chef Marketplace, who does the invoicing?
You sell directly to your customers and you will give them a receipt / invoice.

Can I write reviews?
Certainly. Your opinion matters a lot to the entire Chef Marketplace community. At the end of each order you will be asked for your level of satisfaction. You will also be able to leave a review for the products purchased.

How can I request a refund or report a problem with a product?
If the payment is made via Chef Marketplace with the "Safe Transaction" service, you can request a refund directly in your account. Your money is held by a financial institution until the problem is resolved. Depending on the agreement with the supplier, the money may be refunded completely or partially. You can open a chat within the order and communicate directly with the supplier. If the payment is made outside the platform (without the "Safe Transaction" service), the refund is managed entirely outside the platform. You can still open a chat within the order and communicate directly with the supplier.

For whom is this service for?
The service is for all restaurateurs and hospitality activities who use a menu in their business. This is also perfect for delicatessens, butchers, bakeries, pastry shops that want to give their customers the opportunity to access a digital menu, order/pay comfortably from home or office and then simply collect the food, saving a lot of time.

Can I deactivate the service at any time?
Yes, you can deactivate Chef Marketplace at any time, without any obligation or penalty.

What does the Order + Pay service include?
Order + Pay includes an interactive digital menu, the ability to order from the table, pay from your smartphone, take away and delivery services. All these functions can be activated at the restaurateurs’ discretion in their restaurant app.

How do customers visualize the digital menu?
Customers will use their mobile device (Smartphone or Tablet). Your task will be to display the QR Code on the tables and at the checkouts and share the downloadable link from your account.

Does the customer need to install an App on their smartphone?
No. Order + Pay is based on a Web App, so you don't need to download anything.

Customer is unable to scan the QR Code.
Devices usually already have a built-in QR code reader. However, in case of scanning problems, you can download a specific app: Android or iOS

I am a restaurateur with multiple locations, how can I create the various digital menus?
You must register differently for each venue, using a different email address each time (registrations are unlimited and free). Remember that for each account created there will be a specific reference QR Code.

Is an internet connection required?
Yes. To use the Chef Marketplace restaurant app you need to have an internet connection.

How do I upload my restaurant menu in Chef Marketplace?
We'll take care of it the first time. If later you want to make changes, you can easily do it yourself.

Can I insert photos?
Yes. In addition to your company logo, you can insert one or more photos for each dish on your menu, an opening image and video that present your business. Pictures per each dish are optional.

What payment method is available to my customers?
Customers can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Satispay.

How, where and when do I receive the money?
Once you create a Chef Marketplace account, linked to your bank account, you will receive your money in record time.

How easy is it to set up the Chef Marketplace Order + Pay service?

What can I change about my digital menu and how?
After logging in to your online menu, you can change the name, description and price of the dishes, add images and videos, hide a dish or change the order of the dishes. Changes to the digital menu are unlimited, have no costs and the QR Code / Link always remain the same.

Every time I modify the digital menu do I also have to regenerate a new QR Code / Link?
No. The digital menu can be modified whenever you need it, while the QR Code / Link will not need to be recreated because it is linked to your account and will always remain the same.
